The Library

You enter the dusty library, and a wall of cobwebs covers your face. You brush them off suddenly, undeterred, and enter the room. Ignoring the owner of the Estate's warnings about a few of the rooms being unfinished, you enter the room. Books line every wall of the vast room. Books on all subjects imaginable. There must be thousands in here!!! In his lifetime, the owner of the Estate has probably read them all, numerous times. Time permitting, you'd probably love to browse through a few of them yourself. You spot a small desk, and an inkwell resting atop it. A feather quill pen juts from the small black jar of aged India Ink. Nearby, you spot a collected volume of books. You pick up the first one, and look at the cover. You blow a cloud of dust from the volume, and read the title. Etched into the leather bound cover, in golden stenography is the title, 'Children of the Hourglass'. Below that, at the bottom are the initials 'R.A.' You flip through the book, and find it's pages blank.Open Book The Owner of the Estate must've collected these books himself, but never found the time to set pen to paper. Perhaps later the Owner will return, and add some writing to these volumes. Maybe later, you can return, to view his works. Ultimately, you decide to leave the room now, and return later to envelope yourself in this vast wealth of knowledge.
